Friday the 8th of November saw another great days training by all the dentists taking part in this popular implant programme run by Dr Jennifer Kearney. The training took a close look at the restorative considerations for dental implants.

This month Dr Conor Durack and Dr Seamus Sharkey were invited speakers for the Midland Western Postgraduate Dental Foundation and the Irish Endodontic Society.

Dublin was host to the EAO this month with reowned speakers from all over the world giving presentations on various aspects of implant dentistry. All the members of the Citygate team involved in Dental implants participated in this prestigious conference.

A number of our dentists attended the IDA Munster branch annual scientific meeting in Fota Island on the 11th of October. The speakers on the day included Dr Marga Ree, Dr Paddy Crotty and the State Pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy. A fantastic conference, well done to all the organisers.

Congratulations to Colette Barry and all the members of the Midleton running club who completed the Dublin City Marathon this bank holiday Monday. A wonderful achievement. Looking very fresh for 2 girls who just ran 26 miles!

Congratulations to Nuala Hegarty who took part in the Cork Mini Marathon on Sunday the 15th of September. Nuala was greeted at finish line by her proud son Daniel. Well done Nuala!
