John Browne

Dr John Browne graduated from Cork University Dental School and Hospital in 2002. Following his graduation he spent a number of years working in General Practice in both the UK and Ireland.

A special interest and a pursuit for excellence saw Dr.Browne commence a fulltime Masters Programme in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. On completion of his Masters Degree in 2010, Dr Browne returned to Cork where he has since limited his practice to Endodontics. Dr Browne has lectured locally to the IDA members and in the Eastman Dental Institute CPD centre in London. He is currently a Clinical Tutor to Dental students at Cork University Dental School & Hospital and is on the committee of the Munster branch of the Irish Dental Association.

Dr Browne undertakes all aspects of Endodontics including: pain diagnosis, primary treatments, re-treatments (including instrument and post removal), repair of perforations and surgical treatments. He also has a particular interest in the management of Dental Trauma due to falls and sports injuries. All treatments are carried out with the aid of a dental operating microscope.
